Design the beam-to-column connections for the building. Design the connection such that it can develop the full allowable moment strength ( 
) and the shear force corresponding to the full distributed load when the moment at mid span is equal to the allowable moment strength 
assuming it is a simply supported beam. Use the bolted connection with flange cover plate as shown in the figure. Specify the
size and number of bolts and for flange and web plates for each beam size that you use. Provide full detail drawing for the connection. Finally prepare a complete set of drawings including plans and details and provide a design report by combining all the materials from phase 1 to 4.
