ASSIGNMENT TASK:

Task A
Prepare and deliver a 5-minute elevator pitch that integrates your personal career plan and a critical reflection on the ethical dimensions of your chosen career path within the events industry. In your pitch, you should:

1. Outline your chosen sector (e.g., festivals, MICE, sporting events), key roles, and responsibilities you aspire to with reference to the current trends and challenges within the events industry.
2. Highlight your current qualification, skills, work experience and future career goals career goals.

Task B
Create and present personal branding materials to support your career plan, effectively showcasing your professional identity, unique selling points (USPs), and achievements through:

1. A professional CV, tailored to your chosen career path, that highlights your skills, experiences, and aspirations.
2. A draft LinkedIn profile, complemented by visual aids (e.g., slide, infographic, or a portfolio) to reinforce your personal brand identity, key achievements, and testimonials.

Task C
Participate in a 10-minute Q&A session where you will:

1. Explore employment opportunities within your chosen sector.
2. Defend your career plan and personal branding decisions considering factors such as diversity and inclusion, and environmental responsibility.
3. Reflect on how you will adapt to industry trends and challenges.

MARKING CRITERIA:

GUIDANCE FOR LIVE FACE-TO-FACE PRESENTATIONS:

Specific Guidance on Presentations for this Assignment
