Select a currently operating company in Nepal and critically assess its strategies at the corporate, business, and functional levels.
Answer the following: (60 marks)
a. What is the company Vision and Mission Statement? Clearly state and explain the company’s guiding principles. (5 marks)
b. Conduct an external Environment Analysis โ Use either PESTLE Analysis or Porter’s Five Forces to assess the macro and industry-specific environment. (10 marks)
c. Conduct an internal Analysis of the company using Value Chain Analysis or a Functional Analysis to examine the companyโs internal strengths and weakness. (10 marks)
d. Considering the company operations in the last few years, what are the corporate, business and functional level strategies formulated by them? (10 marks)
e. What could be various issues in implementing these strategies. Identify key challenges the company faces for strategy implementation. (10 marks)
f. Identify the corporate structure and analyze if it complements the strategy (5 marks)
g. Suggest the Implementation and Control Measures to identify if the proposed strategy worked or not. (10 marks)
