Some notes on what this means for students:

A reference section at the end of your work should then list all such references in alphabetical order of authors’ surnames. (There are variations on this referencing system which your tutors may prefer you to use.) LO1 – An understanding and knowledge of vector drawing software and an ability to make simple drawings, diagrams and illustrations; an understanding and knowledge of bitmap drawing software and an ability to produce and manipulate simple drawings and digital images;
LO2 – The ability to scan an image at an appropriate resolution, size and colour depth for use on screen; work Introduction
Coursework Description
This coursework enables you to develop your skills in research and planning for producing an isometric client visualization or UI Design-using vector and bitmap editing software packages.
For the 1stcoursework you should submit some writing, (400-600 words), which discusses your influences. This document should include illustrative images. You must also submit a series of hand drawn sketches that act as preparatory work for your visualizations. This submission provides you with a third of your marks for your visualization project.
Instructions
You will create images that mix line art and photo-visual techniques in either cutaway section or UI Design. The design and architectural style is entirely up to you, you could utilise styles from different periods or base your designs on aspects of existing buildings. In case of designing a UI you are to make designs for all sections of an existing or imaginary mobile app. It is however up to you to develop your own ideas for this project.
For coursework 1, you do not need to submit the designed related to the final isometric design or mobile UI design. You are only expected to submit the report and drawings related to the final design and some experiments done to practice the isometric design and UI design.
