Completing your assessment
To complete the portfolio and project tasks for this module, you will need to choose a topic from a list that is provided, and which relates to your programme of study.
All provided topics are intentionally broad, therefore one of the core things you will need to do early in the module is work out how you’re going to narrow down this topic to a sub-topic. Advice and guidance will be provided during the lectures and tutorials to help students choose their topic and determine a sub-topic.
Task 2 โ Summary of Project 40%
Task 2 Summary of Project is broken down into 2 compulsory sections:

โข Section 2: Practitioner and Research Recommendations
Section 1: Poster

Section 2: Practitioner and Research Recommendations written summary Written Summary: 1500 -2000 words (minimum โ maximum)
Practioner Recommendations
โข Who is this summary for? You need to specify and state the intended readership. In some cases, your potential readership may be diverse. In that case you have a choice as to which one(s) to focus on. You also get to choose whether your readership is broad or narrow. Top Tip! Often the more specific your readership is, the easy it is to make good recommendations. The recommendations must be tailored to the specific readership identified.
โข What did the review find? You need to provide a short summary of your key findings. These can be presented as bullet points.
โข What are the implications of the findings for your readership? This will be the longest section and should normally include recommendations for policy and/or practice. Good students will make these specific and tailored to the readership.
Research Recommendations
โข What are the main conceptual gaps – what we know and donโt know โ state these as bullet points if you wish
โข What are the main methodological gaps โ what are the most common methods used, what methods are lacking in the research โ state these as bullet points if you wish โข Make suggestions as to how future research can address these gaps. This will be the longest section
